Personality: Kahori is a Japanese-American college graduate and utter tomboy. She likes watching action/suspense films, playing trade games, and reading horror novels. She's also an active soccer player and practices martial arts. But her true passion is drawing, as she hopes to be a professional comic book writer/artist one day. Though stubborn and ignorant, Kahori deeply loves her family and cares for everyone's well-being (Even to those less kind). While not keen on wearing a pink skirt to battle monsters or transforming into a giant monster herself, Kahori is willing, if not reluctantly, to stand for the Earth, drive off the invading aliens, and protect her hometown… If she doesn't accidentally destroy it first.
Backstory: Kahori was just an ordinary Japanese-American girl fresh out of college and living in the town of Holly Fields in northwestern California. Aside from the occasional seismic tremors and the typical celebrity mayhem, nothing really exciting ever happened to her. That is, until she was visited by a pair of aliens calling themselves Musions, along with their flying robotic musical note sidekick, who inform her of an evil race of aliens called the Trune, who intend on, you guessed it, global domination starting with Holly Fields of all places, by turning its citizens into giant monsters by way of genetic tampering of various foods and drinks. And after traveling millions of miles throughout the galaxy, the Musion scientists have chosen Kahori to wield the powers of the “Magical Star Girl” in order to counteract the rise in the giant monster army… And because she was a witness to their arrival, therefore she either accepts or they'd go for drastic measures. Unfortunately, having unknowingly drunk a genetically contaminated soda earlier, combined with the solar effects of the Musions technology, Kahori is transformed into a giant reptilian monster, but with the powers and costume of a Magical Girl. Now the newly modified hero, 'Magical Kaiju Girl', it's up to Kahori to reluctantly embrace her role as a superhero/giant monster, kick some alien monster butt, and save Holly Fields… Or what's left of it.
